The Food and Beverage Awards 2006 (FAB Awards)
On Thursday 29th June, Kamana Basnyat from Heathrow T4 AMT bar was presented with the award for the Best Barista of the Year at the FAB 2006 Awards. This is a fantastic achievement for Kamana and a great compliment to AMT Coffee. Kamana has won £ 1,000 and a weekend in Milan, Italy. Kamana was initially entered into the competition in April 06 when she competed against top baristas from Cafe Nero, Coffee Republic, Pret a Manger etc. Kamana impressed the judges by making an excellent Latte, Cappuccino and Cafe Maya and this ensured she was selected as a finalist in the competition.
